Questions

Where does the data come from?
The AIDEN indexer reads the ERC-8004 Identity, Reputation and Validation registries on Robinhood Chain and scores agents from verified USDG settlement. The MCP server queries it over https://api.aiden.network.
Can it move funds or sign anything?
No. Every tool is read-only. The server never asks for a wallet, a private key or an API key.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up, no API key and no OAuth. Requests are rate-limited per IP address.
Can I point it at my own indexer?
Yes. Set AIDEN_API_URL in the server's env to your own AIDEN backend, for example http://127.0.0.1:4000.
Remote URL or npx?
Both run the same six tools. The remote URL (https://mcp.aiden.network/mcp) works in web apps like claude.ai and ChatGPT with nothing to install. npx runs the server on your machine and lets you point it at your own indexer.
